Mat G. Simmons

CEO & Founder

Mat has nearly 20 years of experience building, scaling, and exiting businesses in manufacturing, distribution, and real estate. Shaped by starting his career just before the 2008 financial crisis, he follows a disciplined philosophy: prioritize reliable cash flow, protect against downside, and seek asymmetric upside. He transformed SCG & Co. from a real estate operator into a vertically integrated alternative investment platform, now active in income-producing real estate, development, structured credit, and high-quality co-investments. His approach emphasizes rigorous underwriting, cycle-aware capital deployment, durable income, and structured protection over speculative growth.

Timothy Moulton

CFO

Timothy Moulton built CliCKS Document Management from a 1990 startup into a 140-employee, $8.5M-revenue business by delivering exceptional speed and reliability, while creating a scalable, management-led organization sold successfully in 2019. Since 2022 at Simmons Company, he leverages his operator expertise for underwriting, diligence, and value creation in lower middle-market services, focusing on scalability, competitive edge, and leadership strength.

Stephen Guetig

Director of Capital Markets

Stephen Guetig is a finance professional with expertise in capital raising and principal investing. He helped raise $3B at Bayview Asset Management, served as Partner at Track 3 Holdings where he turned around and exited a home services business to private equity, and most recently raised capital as Managing Member of Phase II Capital to scale a waste management franchise. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Wharton.

Christian Delligatti

Director of Capital Markets

Christian Delligatti leads capital formation, origination, underwriting, and exit support at SCG Global, partnering with family offices, RIAs, private investors, and PE partners to source opportunities and identify strategic/financial buyers for portfolio companies. His background spans capital markets, investment banking, and OCIO initiatives, with extensive experience building relationships among institutional investors and economic development stakeholders.

Steve Darocy

Operations

Steve Darocy is a seasoned medical device and healthcare supply executive specializing in sales and business development. He co-founded Surgical Product Solutions (SPS) as Managing Partner, leading innovative supply chain solutions and sales team growth. In July 2024, SPS was acquired by AA Medical, forming a strategic partnership. He now serves as Executive Advisor of Sales Excellence at SPS (under the combined entity) and is a Duquesne University graduate.
